Crust:
1 c. Butter
1/2 c. Powdered Sugar
2 c. Flour
Filling:
4 Eggs, Beaten
6 T. Lemon Juice
2 c. Granulated Sugar
4 T. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
Extra Powdered Sugar for Dusting Top

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat Oven to 350
Mix Crust Ingredients together. Press into 13X9" baking pan and Bake 12 minutes. While crust is baking mix Filling Ingredients together and pour on crust when removed from the oven. Return all to oven and bake 25-30 minutes more - do not brown, just set up. Let cook and sprinkle with extra powdered sugar and cut into bars

This recipe has been around longer than I can remember; but this is the version our family always used. It is really good to add ground nuts to the crust such as Almonds to give more texture - Jan
