Dressing:
1/3 c. Sugar
2 tbsp. Honey
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Dry Mustard
1/3 c. Vinegar
1 c. Oil
1 1/2 tbsp. Poppy Seeds
1 1/2 tbsp. Onion Juice
Salad:
Lettuce [Iceberg, Bibb, Butter, Mixed Greens]
Water Chestnuts, canned drained
Bamboo Shoots, canned drained
Fresh Bean Sprouts
Cucumber, sliced
Avocado, peeled and sliced or diced
Artichoke Hearts, canned or jar drained
Hearts of Palm, canned drained

Directions:

Mix together all Dressing ingredients in Blender or Food Processor, blend well and refrigerate. Break up Lettuce/s, add remaining ingredients - toss with Poppyseed Dressing to taste.

The Dressing recipe came from our family friend, Lynn Holland [no relation to the Elmore Holland Family]. I also like to add Mandarin Orange segments and sliced Almonds for crunch.
