2 cans of kidney beans
1 large onion sliced
1 green pepper chopped
1 lb ground beef
1 16 oz can of tomatoes
1 8 oz can of tomato sauce
1 to 1&1/2 tsp chili powder
1 &1/2 tsp salt
1 bay leaf
Dash each of cayenne and paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground meat, onion and green pepper in a large kettle, add beans (reserve liquid) and remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1 or 2 hours, adding remaining bean liquid if needed. Serve with saltine crackers.
