3 c quick cooking oatmeal
1/4 cup unsweetened pure cocoa
1/2 c chunky peanut butter
1/2 c milk
2 c sugar
1 stick of butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in a pan the sugar, butter, cocoa, milk, put on medium heat and cook until it starts to boil, until sugar dissolves.

Remove from heat, cool for 1 minute, add vanilla, salt, and stir in peanut butter until melted. Add the quick cooking oatmeal, stir well. Drop by the tsp full onto wax paper. Let set.

I got this recipe out of a weekly reader in 4th grade. I started making them then for my brother's and sister. I still love them. A great way to get fiber into your kids!
