3 cups flour.
2 1/4 cup sugar. ( plus 5 tbsp sugar).
1 cup oil.
4 eggs.
1/2 tsp salt.
1/3 cup orange juice.
2 1/2 tsp vanilla.
4 0r 5 medium apples.
nuts.
1/2 jar applesauce.
Butter.
3 tsp baking powder.
2 tbsp Cinnamon.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together until smooth. Add 2 tbsp Cinnamon and 5 tbsp sugar, mix together. Grease and flour pan. In separate bowl mix together apples, nuts, and applesauce. Layer pan with butter, add another layer of the batter and end with separated peeled apple mixture. Bake @ 15 minutes @ 350 and reduce to 325 and bake for the remaining 1 1/2 hours.
