1 lb Elbow Macaroni
1 qt milk
1 pkg shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 T butter or margarine
4 heaping T flour
6 qts boiling water
4 T salt


Directions:
Directions:
Place 1 lb of macaroni into 6 qts of rapidly boiling salted water. Boil approximately 12 minutes or until al dente. Drain well and rinse in cold water.

Cream Sauce
Put on pkg of cheese into one quart of milk in medium saucepan. Add butter and heat stirring often. Stir flour well into 2 T very warm water. When cheese begins to melt add flour mixture. Stir constantly until mixture thickens slightly. Pour over macaroni.
