2 c canned crushed pineapple, strained juice reserved
1/2 c sugar
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 1/2 pkg gelatin
2 6 oz cream cheese
12 maraschino cherries, cut up
2 tsp maraschino cherry juice
1/2 pt whipping cream, whipped

Directions:
Directions:
Soften gelatin in 1/2 cup of hot water. Heat pineapple juice and sugar to boiling. Add lemon juice and gelatin. Whip cream cheese and add cherries, pineapple, cherry juice and the gelatin mixture. Put in refrigerator and when it starts to set a bit fold in whipped cream.
