6 medium Idaho potatoes 1 stick butter salt and pepper to taste onion-sliced
Slice potatoes, rinse and drain. Layer potatoes in large casserole dish, add onions, dot with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Repeat layers as needed. Cover and microwave at least 20 minutes or until soft.
