2 slices bread
2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1 egg
1/2 c. chili sauce
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
garlic buns

Directions:
Directions:
Soak bread in water; squeeze out. Add remaining ingredients, except, garlic buns; blend well. Shape into 8 patties. Broil in oven or on grill for 5 to 8 minutes on each side. Place on garlic buns; add desired accompaniments.
GARLIC BUNS: 1/4 c. melted butter, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder. Blend together and spread on 8 hamburger buns. Broil on baking sheet until toasted.
