2 lb. extra lean ground beef 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 2 Tbsp. tender quick salt 3/4 tsp. onion powder 1 c. water
Mix all ingredients well. Shape into long loaves. Wrap in saran wrap and refrigerate overnight or 24 hours. Unwrap and put in pan at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Pour off liquid. Return to oven a few minutes to dry. Use as any other cured meats.
