1/3 Cup Crisco
1 Cup Sugar
1 Beaten Egg
1 3/4 Cups Flour
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Buttermilk
2 Mashed Bananas
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts
1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together crisco and sugar, add beaten egg, and sift in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well and add buttermilk, mashed bananas, and vanilla. Stir in walnuts. Pour into loaf pan and bake at 300 for approximately 1 hour or till tests done in the middle.
