2 lb. hamburger
4 cans kidney beans
1 can tomatoes
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 large onion
4 cans tomato sauce
chili powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook hamburger, onion, and seasonings in 8 quart pot. As hamburger begins to brown, add other ingredients. After mixture begins to boil, let cook for 1/2 hour. Serve with lettuce salad and crackers.
