1 (14oz) eagle brand milk
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
3 large egg yolks, lightly beaten
1 (9 inch) pie shell cooked.
3 large egg whites
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
6 tablespoons sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325 F.
In a bowl combine the condensed milk and lime juice. Blend in the egg yolks.
Pour the mixture into the cooked pie shell.
In another bowl beat egg whites with the cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
Beat the sugar into the egg whites one tablespoon at a time,until the egg whites form stiff glossy peaks.
Spoon the egg whites over pie filling, and spread to the edge.
Bake 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool on wire rack before serving.
