2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
4 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 sticks margarine
1 cup water
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
Icing:
1 stick margarine
1 tablespoon cocoa
4 tablesppons milk
1/2 - 3/4 pounds powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, flour, cocoa and salt in a mixing bowl. Combine water and margarine in a sauce pan and boil 3 minutes. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Blend in eggs, add buttermilk, soda and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour into greased and floured 15 x 10 1/2 and 1/2 deep jelly roll pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
Icing:
Combine the margarine cocoa, and milk in a saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Pour over powdered sugar and beat. Add chopped pecans if desired.
