2T butter
1/4 cup minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1-1/2 T chili powder
2 Cups tomato juice
3/4 cup white vinegar
2 T worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp powdered mustard
1 T water
1 T minced cipotle chile in adobo
2 T molasses
1-1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp peper

Directions:
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. When butter starts to foam, add onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onion is soft (3-4 mins).

Add garlic and chili powder. Contine to cook, stirring constantly, until aroma is apparent (about 20-30 secs).

Add tomato juice, 1/2 cup vinegar, worchester sauce, mustard, chipotle, molasses and salt.

Increase heat and bring to simmer. Let simmer, uncovered about 30 mins, until liquid is reduced to about 1-1/2 cups. Sauce will also thicken.

Remove from heat and add remaining vinegar and 1/4 tsp pepper. Cool to room temperature before serving.
