2 lbs ground beef
1 egg
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/8 cup water
1/4 cup fine bread crumbs
1 8 oz can water chestnuts (do not mix with meat mixture)

1 12 oz bottle chili sauce
1 10 oz jar grape jelly
1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemmon pepper
1 8 oz can pineapple chunks

Combine all ingredients for meat (except chestnuts) and mix. Do not mix to much as meat will be tough.

Wrap a small amount of meat around 1/2 chestnut pieces.

Brown lightly.

Mix sauce and let cook on low for 30-60 mins (on stove) or on low for a few hours in crock pot. Add meatballs.

These can be kept warm in crock pot for several hours.
