1 medium head cabbage,1 medium carrot, 3 stalks celery & 1/2 green pepper.1 tsp salt.1 c vinegar,1/2 c water, 2 c sugar1 tsp each of celery seed & mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
Grate cabbage and carrot ( can use prepackaged slaw ingredients) Chop celery & green pepper. Sprinkle with salt and let stand for 1 hour then squeeze out as much liquid as possible. In the mean time bring to a boil, the vinegar, water sugar, and seed spices. Cook 2 minutes. let cool. Pour over cabbage mixture.Put in containers and freeze. Thaw in refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours before serving.
