6 eggs, separated
1 c sugar
1/2 tbsp baking powder
1/2 lemon
1 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Grease pan (line wax paper in square pan).
Beat egg whites. Cream egg yolks with sugar and lemon. Fold egg yolks into whites, by hand. Gently add flour and baking powder.
Pour batter into pan.
Bake until golden and bake springs back when gently touched with finger.

Recommend 350 degrees.

For nut cake, substitute less flour for 1/2 c nuts.
