2 c. chocolate wafer crumbs
6 T. butter, melted
3 8 oz. pkgs. of cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 c. miniature semisweet chocolate chips
2 c. whipped cream
1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted
1 milk chocolate candy bar (4 oz) chopped

In bowl combine wafer crumbs and butter. Press into the bottom and 1-1/2 in. up sides of a greased 9-in spring-form pan. Chill for 15 minutes or until set. In lg. mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs; beat over low speed until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into crust. Place pan on a baking sheet. Bake at 325 for 55-60 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool for 10 minutes on wire rack. Carefully run a knife around edge of pan to loosen. Cool 1 hour longer. Refrigerate overnight. For frosting, melt candy bar in microwave, stir until smooth. Cool to room temp. Beat whipped cream, sweeten w/ 1 T. powdered sugar. Gradually stir in melted chocolate. Remove sides of spring-form pan, frost top of cheesecake; garnish with almonds.
