6 small green peppers, tops and seeds removed
tsp. salt
1 lb. ground beef
c.ketchup
c. raw rice (converted)
1 c. water
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. chopped onion
c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Wash green peppers; drain well. Salt cavity lightly. Saute ground beef and onions until browned. Drain fat. Add rice, water, onion, salt, and c. ketchup. Mix well. Stuff green peppers 2/3 full. Arrange stuffed peppers in a crock pot (may be stacked). Pour ketchup and water over peppers. Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours. (High- 3 hours).

Red peppers may be substituted and tomato sauce for 1c.of ketchup if desired.
