1 lb lean ground beef
1 white onion, chopped
2 1lb cans of stewed tomatoes
1 16 oz can tomato sauce
4 cups water,
2 10 oz packages of frozen mixed vegetables
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 teaspoons sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, brown ground beef with chopped onion, drain off excess fat. Transfer to soup pot, stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, frozen vegetables, onion soup mix, and sugar.
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
