"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 T. Louisiana Hot Sauce
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. vinegar
1 whole cut up chicken
2 T. butter
1 T. Louisiana hot Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients in a shaker or cruet so that when you are basting the chicken you do not get any red pepper flakes on the chicken.

Put chicken in a bag with 1 tsp salt and water for two hours before grilling. This makes the chicken moist.

Grill outside for 45 to 50 minutes on indirect heat.
Shake the hot sauce on chicken as you grill.

Melt 2 T. butter and 1 T. Louisiana to use for dipping chicken while eating.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is very good. Depending how many people you are serving you may want to make more hot sauce for dipping.
