1 C butter
1 C sifted (I donít sift) powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 ľ C flour
1 C pecans or other nuts
2 C soft candied cherries, red & green (1 c each)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together: butter & powdered sugar
Add egg & vanilla & mix well.
Add flour, pecans & candied cherries.


Mix well & chill 1 hr. Divide dough in halves or thirds. Shape into rolls about 12 inches long. Wrap in waxed paper, chill at least 3 hrs.
Cut into 1/8 in. slices and place on a ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 for 13-15 minutes.
