2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. baking soda
1/4 t. ground cinnamon
1/8 t. ground nutmeg
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cooking oil or melted butter
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
Streusel topping:
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
3 T. all-purpose flour
2 T. butter
1/3 c. walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Grease two loaf pans (depending on size); set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and 1/4 t. salt. Make a well in center of flour mixture; set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine bananas, eggs, sugar and oil. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture, Stir just until moistened. Fold in nuts. Spoon batter into prepared pans. If desired, sprinkle streusel-nut topping over batter. Bake at 350º for 55 to 60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove and cool completely on wire rack, Wrap and store overnight before slicing.
