6 cups flour
4 teaspoon baking powder
4 teaspoon salt
8 cups sugar
2-1/2 cups powdered cocoa mix
1 pound shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, salt. Add sugar and cocoa mix. With pastry blender, mix in shortening. Store in one large container or in 10 two-cup containers.

When ready to use blend 2 cups of above mixture with two eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour into an 8 X 8 inch greased cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Can be made a richer chocolate by adding cocoa powder to taste. Chocolate chips are great too. Recipe makes 10 two-cup batches which are good for gifts.
