1 - 8 oz. bag whole blanched almonds
1 - 10 oz. container whole pitted dried dates
1 - 12 oz. pkg. bacon, cut into 3 inch strips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place almonds in a single layer on a cookie sheet; toast until they are golden and fragrant, about 10 minutes. Let cool. Stuff an almond inside each date. Wrap a piece of bacon around each date (bacon should slightly overlap). Place on cookie sheet: bake until bacon is crisp about 25 minutes. Let cool slightly before serving.

I know these may sound gross, but they are delicious, and pretty easy to make. I would never have made them if I hadn't tried them at a reception and didn't know what I was eating.
