1 lb spicy Italian sausage
1/2 lb bacon
4 cups water
2 14.5 oz cans chicken broth
2 large potatoes, cubed
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups chopped kale
1 cup heavy whipping cream
salt and pepper to taste


Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage, crumbling in small pieces as it cooks; drain and set aside. Brown bacon, drain, crumble, and set aside. Place water, broth, potatoes, garlic, and onion in pot; simmer this over medium heat until potatoes are fork tender. Add sausage and bacon and simmer for another 10 minutes. Add kale and cream; season with salt and pepper and heat through.
