1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup oleo
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg

1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup pecan pieces-opt.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375* Cream oleo, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Blend until creamy. Stir in egg. Combine flour, salt and baking soda gradually to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough three inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375* for 8-10 min for chewy cookies-11-13 for crisp, Cool two min before removing to cooling rack.
