42 Club crackers (2-1/2" x 1")
1/2 C Butter
1/2 C Sugar
1 Tsp. Vanilla extract
1 C. Slivered Almonds

Directions:
Place crackers in a single layer on foil lined 15-in x 10-in x 1-in. baking pan. In a saucepan over medium heat,melt butter. Add sugar, bring to a boil, stirring constantly. B oil for 2 minutes remove from heat. Add vanilla. Pour over crackers; sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes,or until lightly browned. Immediately remove from the pan. cutting between crackers if necessary, and cool on wire racks. Store in airtight container.
