1 lb. ground chuck
1 c. soft bread crumbs
3/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. milk
1 large clove garlic, crushed
1 egg slightly beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
1/3 c. prepared barbecue sauce

1. Heat oven to 350 In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except barbecue sauce: Mix lightly bur thoroughly.
2. Shape beef mixture and put in 10x4 in loaf pan. Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Generously brush meatloaf with barbecue sauce. Continue baking 5 more minutes or until center is no longer pink. Cool.
