3 sticks butter
1-8 oz cream cheese
3 cups sugar
dash of salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
6 large eggs
3 cups sifted cake flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add salt and vanilla, beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour until well mixed. Spoon mixture into a well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hour 30 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean. Butter, eggs, and cream cheese need to be at room temperature. Do not preheat oven. Start in a cold oven.
