2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp.baking soda
2 sticks margarine
4 T. cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp.vanilla

1/2 stick margarine
2 T. cocoa
3 T. buttermilk
1/2 cup powered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift 2 cups flour, 2 cups sugar and 1 tsp. baking sode. Pour into bowl. Melt on stove 2 sticks margarine, 4 T. cocoa and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and pour over dry ingredients. Add 1/2 cup buttermilk, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and beat well. Pour into greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Frosting- Melt on stove 1/2 stick margarine, 2 T. cocoa and 3 T. buttermilk. Bring to boil and add 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla. The more it's stirred it will become smooth. When cake is still hot, but out of the oven pour icing over cake and add nuts to top.

This takes awhile to make but it's very good and keeps for quite a while.
