4 tbsp butter.
1 tsp salt.
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper.
1/8 tsp mace.
1/8 tsp nutmeg.
1 tsp mustard.
1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs.
1 pd crabmeat.
2 egg yolks, beaten.
Flour for dredging.
Oil for deep frying.

Melt butter, add salt, cayenne pepper, mace, nutmeg, mustard and breadcrumbs. Mix in crabmeat and beaten egg yolks. Refrigerate until firm. Then roll into small balls, dredge with flour, and fry in hot oil to a nice golden brown.
