1 (14-oz.) bag caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk, divided
1 box German Chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. softened margarine
1 c. nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
coconut, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well: cake mix, 1/3 c. milk, and 3/4 c. margarine. Spread 1/2 of mixture in bottom of 9" x 13" pan, sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 8 min. While this is baking, melt in microwave: caramels & 1/3 c. evaporated milk. Take out of oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips, nuts, caramel sauce, and remaining cake batter on top. Bake 20-22 min. at 350. You can sprinkle coconut over the chocolate chips before you put nuts and caramel.
