Whole Chicken
Butter
Carrots
Celery
Onion
Salt and Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Braise whole chicken in heavy roaster with one stick of butter. Oven should be at 400 degree. When one side of chicken is a golden brown, turn on other side. After braising , cool chicken . Cut when completely cool.
Scrape bottom butter , add above veggies,salt and pepper and bake at 350 degree until soft. Strain mixture.
Lay cut up chicken in roaster, add some of the strained mixture to roaster, saving some to make gravy. Bake at 325 degree till it almost falls off of the bone----just like it did at the hall.
