2 T. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 small can crushed pineapple
1/4 c. chopped pecans
2 egg whites
30 vanilla wafer cookies
whipped topping

Directions:
Directions:
Cream 2 tbsp. butter and 1/2 cup sugar. Add 2 egg yolks. Mix in 1 small can of crushed pineapple, partly drained and 1/4 cup chopped pecans. Fold in 2 stiff beaten egg whites. Need about 30 vanilla wafers, (according to dish used). In an 8x8 pan, layer one row of cookies. Top with mixture. Continue layering, finishing with mixture on top. Refrigerate overnight. Serve with whipped topping.
