1 doz oysters prefer large and cut in half
1 cup of cream or milk
1/2 cup of butter,melted
1/2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper
2 to 3 cups of trenton oyster crackers, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
In a glass casserole dish, smear the bottom and sides with butter, very heavy. Drain the oyster liquid and place in a cup. Add some cream or milk (this will be little more than a cup but will be enough to soak the assembled oyster and cracker mix). Place a layer of crushed crackers in the bottom of the dish, then a layer of oysters. Repeat. Add the remaining crackers and dot the top with butter. Pour the mixture of oyster/milk, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce over the top. cover and bake at 350 for 35 to 45 minutes or until the top layer appears to be browning.
