2 c. sugar
1 c. all-purpose flour
c. baking cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour two 9 in. round baking pans or a 9 x 13 in. baking pan. In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely before icing.
