2/3 c. margarine (softened, not melted)
2/3 c. shortening
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat, by hand, the margarine, shortening, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Add to large bowl, a little at a time and mix together. Then add 1 12 oz. bag of chocolate chips.
Drop by the spoonful onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 7-8 min. (they will look like they are not quite done). Remove from cookie sheet and cool.
