1 (15-oz.) can of pink salmon, cleaned & drained but save the juice
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash of garlic powder
1 heaping tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the baking powder into the saved salmon juice and set aside. Put all other ingredients in a large bowl and mix very well. Heat frying oil in a large skillet or deep fryer. Fold baking powder mixture gently into the bowl. Drop by tsp. into med. hot oil and fry until desired brownness.

Tammy is the wife of Allen Emerson, the daughter of Raymond & Doris (Mitchell) Hollenshead & the granddaughter of the late Ray & Fern (Prince) Hollenshead. Krisi is grown with 2 daughters of her own, Anna Grace will be 4 in August and Emily Lynn will be 2 in September. Krisi still wants me to cook these for her. It takes about 1/4 c. of the salmon juice. Most of the time it is just right, but I have had to add a little more flour to get it to stay together. The mixture should be a little wet but able to stay together when put into the oil.
