2 T.butter
2 T. extra virgin olive oil
2 c. diced onions
1 T. minced garlic
1/2 tsp ground allspice
6 T. chopped fresh dill
6 c. chicken broth
1 tsp sugar
2 cans (28 oz) peeled plum tomatoes drained and chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter with olive oil. Add the onions and cook until soft, add garlic, and cook stirring for 3 minutes. Sprinkle allspice over the onions and cook one more minute. Add 4 T of the dill with salt pepper and cook for 5 minutes over low heat, stirring. Add the broth, tomatoes, sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer partially covered for 20 minutes. Cool slightly then puree the soup in batches and return to the pot. Add the remaining chopped dill.
