2 Cups and 4 Tbs. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 Cup shortening
Pkg. Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts (Optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Then add remaining ingredients and mix well. Then add chocolate chips and nuts. Roll by hand into 1" balls and placed on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes.
