8 cups apple juice/apple cider 1 red skinned apple sliced 3 cups water 1/2 cup honey 3 cinnamon sticks 1/2 tsp allspice 12 whole cloves 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1 cup lemon juice 1 orange slice
Combine apple juice, sliced apple, water, honey and spices in pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Simmer for 30 minutes. Let stand overnight, then strain. Add lemon juice and orange slices. Reheat before serving but do not boil.
