4-5 Apples
1 cup white sugar
1 cup water
1/2 tsp
cup shortening
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Place sugar and water in saucepan, bring to a boil. About 5 minutes or a little less.
Remove from heat, slice apples in a 9x9 pan, pour syrup over apples. Now mix the biscuit topping, Flour, salt baking powder, cut in shortening, stir in milk to make soft dough. Over apples drop teaspoons of dough, with top of spoon make dent in dough and fill with cinnamon topping, bake at 450 or 425 glass dish for 25 minutes. Serve warm with cream.
Topping: mix 2 tbsp melted butter or margarine 2 tbsp brown sugar and tsp cinnamon
