2 egg whites
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites till stiff. Slowly add sugar until very stiff. Fold in walnuts. Butter pie pan, spoon in meringue. Spread evenly & up sides of pan. Bake at 400 oven for 10 mins. Cool, remove each slice, add a scoop of ice cream and top with caramel sauce.

Caramel Sauce: Melt 1/2 c. butter. Add 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar. Remove from heat and slowly add 1/2 c. whipping cream. Return to heat and bring to a boil. Add 1 tsp. vanilla. You could also use Mrs. Richardson's. ( I would heat it a bit)
