Never-fail Chocolate Cake Recipe

Sift together:
3 c. flour
1 c. Hershey Cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 t. baking SODA
1/2 t. salt
Make a well in the center and add:
1 c. canola oil
1 c. boiling water
1 c. sour milk (OK with 3tbsp vinegar in 1c.milk)
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Hand mix until ingredients mixed (do not overbeat).
Mixture will be soupy.
Grease a tube pan or bundt pan well.
Cook at 325 for about 1 hour or more until cake tests done. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.

of Simonds Saw and Steel Co. in Fitchburg back in
forties where my Dad and Cal's Mom worked. They
both picked it up. It's a keeper!
