Layer One:
1/2 cup butter
1 square bitter baking choc.
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 beaten egg
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Layer Two:
1/4 cup butter
1 tbsp. milk
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Layer Three:
6 oz. choc. chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and chocolate together in a saucepan. Mix the sugar, vanilla, and egg into the chocolate mixture. Add the nuts, cracker crumbs and coconut and press the mixture into an ungreased 9 x 9 baking dish. Put in the refrigerator to set.

For the second layer, blend the 4 ingredients together and spread over the cooled crumb mixture. Return to the refrigerator.

For the third layer, melt the chocolate chips and spread evenly over the second layer. Chill to set, but cut into squares before it gets too firm. Store in the refrigerator.

These are nice, because there is no baking involved. They are very rich, almost like candy and disappear quickly.
