2 sticks margarine 1 C water 3 T cocoa 2 C sugar 2 C flour 1/4 tsp salt 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 C buttermilk 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vanilla
In a saucepan, bring to a boil the margarine, water, and cocoa. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, sift together the sugar, flour, and salt. Add cocoa mixture to flour mixture. Stir well. Add eggs, buttermilik, soda, and vanilla. Bake 400º for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 375º for a few minutes if needed until done.
