1 cube butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 c. blueberries


6 TB. butter
6 TB. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Fold in flour, baking powder and salt mixture alternately with milk. Gently fold in blueberries.

For topping, melt butter, stir in sugar, cinnamon, and nuts,

Place batter in greased 9 X 13 baking dish. Top with streusel topping. Bake @ 400 for 25- 30 minutes or until done. Can also bake as muffins. Fill muffin cups 1/2 full and top with streusel topping. Bake @ 400 for 13-15 minutes.

I like lots of streusel topping, so I make extra and add it to taste.
