4 eggs
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Separate the eggs. To the 4 yolks add the vanilla and the cream of tartar. Beat well. Add 1 cup of the sugar and beat again. Set aside. Beat the 4 egg whites until stiff. Add the other cup of sugar and mix again. Fold the two batters together.

To serve put 2-3 tablespoons of batter in a coffee mug. Add 1 shot brandy and 1 shot rum. Fill with hot water. Stir and sprinkle with nutmeg.

Batter will keep several days in the refrigerator. Stir before using after storing.
